Privacy and enquiries

Enrico Freund (smarthomemalta) is responsible for personal information you email to contact@smarthomemalta.com.mt. We use your contact details and the project information you choose to share to assess and answer your enquiry, and to take steps toward an agreement at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Providing details is optional, but we need an email address and a basic project description to reply.

If no project follows, we keep your enquiry for follow-up questions (legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and delete it from our active mailbox within six months of our last contact. Microsoft may retain recoverable copies under its service settings. If a project follows, we will explain how its records are handled separately.

Only Enrico Freund accesses the business mailbox. Microsoft 365 provides email. Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and processes technical connection information such as IP addresses, based on our interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). These providers may process limited data outside the European Economic Area under their EU Standard Contractual Clauses; email us for details. This page has no analytics scripts or automated decisions about enquiries.

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your information, object to processing where applicable, or request a portable copy of information you gave us where applicable, by emailing us. You can also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
